I don't know, if I can trust my bilge switch.
My old boat had a simple swimmer switch, floating-up with the water and activating the bilge pump.
Like this one below:
My new boat has two pressure operated switches.
I read some concerns in US leisure ship and trawler forums.
The 'normal' switch with the swimming lever did his job for 30 years.
I need to test the pressure operated one and will report here about my findings.
