**The Trend Toward Deckhouse Remains Unbroken**

The trend toward deckhouses seems unbroken, with hardly a shipyard willing to forego models with raised structures in their product lineup above the 35-foot mark. While major series manufacturers have only embraced this trend in recent years, smaller operations have long upheld this tradition. This is also true for the Wauquiez shipyard in France, which, although now part of the Bénéteau Group alongside Jeanneau, Lagoon, and CNB, has managed to retain its unique characteristics within the group and in the market in general. Wauquiez builds ships with the so-called Pilot Saloon. This is not just a larger structure that allows more light into the ship but a raised saloon that offers a view outside even when seated.
