Cylinder head gasket blown - Pit - 27.03.2025
For everyone interested or also affected, here are some imagery and info about a sensitive part of our engine.
1st symptoms:
Engine runs OK up to ~1500U/min.
Overheating warning with 1800U/min.
Out of sudden air in the inner cooling circuit.
The mechanic confirmed 1st assumptions of a blown cylinder head gasket.
Cost of parts ~2700US$ and I understood price including work ~7000 USD.
That includes complete revision of the cylinder head. - That's a new engine!
